This is a bee on a Thistle. The Thistle is our national flower here in Scotland.

DeleteGreat photo, Ananka :-) I know that flower is Scotland's national widely recognized symbol. I saw it on the money too. According to a legend, the thistle helped Scottish people defend against a Viking invasion.
