About Me

My photo
I'm a simple Scottish girl with an unusual name and a strange obsession for nail polish! My aim is to capture what the eye sees, with a camera! Too much nail polish and never enough time. I have also started wildlife photography, which I enjoy very much. Welcome to my little world :-)

Trip To London In May 2023

Been meaning to post these for a while now! We went to London in May 2023 to see Sparks. I absolutely love Sparks and had seen them a few times proir to this. Here are a few photos from that trip.

Royal Albert Hall In London

Sparks At The Royal Albert Hall May 2023 London

The gig was at the famous Royal Albert Hall, as you can see from the photo it was very busy! It was a great gig and considering how old both Ron and Russell are, both were amazing. Russell was jumping and dancing about the stage like a 30 year old! I think they are still very talented and still manage to produce clever material. Do any of you like Sparks? What is your favourite era or album? Have you seen them live?

  4. I went to London five years ago. Unfortunately, the town was covered with snow. I also visited the House of Commons and Westminster abbey.

  9. I retired a few years ago after more than 50 years in broadcasting-- I confess I've never heard of Sparks. I must admit my own tastes tend to be Classical and Led Zeppelin the rest of the time.

  18. I love the duck, a favorite of mine. Love their faces and the quacking. They are one of my earliest memories. I'm sorry, I don't know Sparks. I will look them up on Youtube.

    1. So surprised, I looked on Wikipedia and saw them are from the U.S. My husband might know who they are, he listened, and still has, a lot of vinyl records. I'm dating myself, aren't I?

    2. They are so very cute :-D Yes from the US and massive in the 70s and 80s. He will know them I am sure. Not at all, I have vinyl too and think it still sounds the best. Cassettes and CDs have died but I don't think vinyl ever will! :-D
