Been meaning to post these for a while now! We went to London in May 2023 to see Sparks. I absolutely love Sparks and had seen them a few times proir to this. Here are a few photos from that trip.
The gig was at the famous Royal Albert Hall, as you can see from the photo it was very busy! It was a great gig and considering how old both Ron and Russell are, both were amazing. Russell was jumping and dancing about the stage like a 30 year old! I think they are still very talented and still manage to produce clever material. Do any of you like Sparks? What is your favourite era or album? Have you seen them live?
Great photo of Big Ben! -Christine cmlk79.blogspot.com

DeleteHello Ananka,
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. Wonderful that Big Ben and great to see that famous Albert Hall inside.
Funny ducks.
Thanks for the congratulations.
Many greetings,
Marco
They are very cute. Thanks Marco :-D
DeleteI love the duck, a favorite of mine. Love their faces and the quacking. They are one of my earliest memories. I'm sorry, I don't know Sparks. I will look them up on Youtube.
ReplyDeleteSo surprised, I looked on Wikipedia and saw them are from the U.S. My husband might know who they are, he listened, and still has, a lot of vinyl records. I'm dating myself, aren't I?
DeleteThey are so very cute :-D Yes from the US and massive in the 70s and 80s. He will know them I am sure. Not at all, I have vinyl too and think it still sounds the best. Cassettes and CDs have died but I don't think vinyl ever will! :-D
