Flying Gull

 

This is a few years old. It's one of the Gulls at the pond. They usually appear when I go as they know I will feed them all! I was happy to capture this one in flight!

A Thoughtful Gull

 

This is from a few years back. It's a Gull on top of a car at Edinburgh Zoo. I really thought it had a lovely and thoughtful face. I've spoken several times on here about my love for Gulls. They are hated by so many people. I have never had a bad experience with a Gull and been around plenty!

Gulls At The Pond

This is an older photo. Two Gulls at the pond. They were happy to eat the food I put down for the ducks. I do like Gulls a lot.

A Hungry Fledgling

 

This young Gull was looking for some food. The parents were near by on the rooftop watching it. It's a cute and fluffy little one.

A Young One

 

I was taking a photo of this young gull and in the second photo he is looking at me. I was talking to him and, no doubt, he was looking for food!

We were at the seaside the other day and there were so many of them and it was great to see. They were looking for food and some people fed them while others were fearing them! In all my years, I have never had a bad encounter with them. Maybe they can sense a good person, I really don't know. But I have met countless people who hate them for no reason it would seem.

In Flight

Following on from my post yesterday.... 

Here we have a gull at the pond in flight. I was lucky to catch this photo too. Gulls are much hated birds but I really liked them and have never had a bad experience with one.

Checking Me Out

 

This Gull wasn't sure of me at first but he was checking me out in the second photo. I really love that little head tilt that birds do when they are looking at me.

One Creature's Rubbish....

....is another Creature's treasure!

Someone had littered in the local supemarket carpark and these Gulls and Birds were feasting on the contents of the bags. It looks like some sort of pastry. 

How Many Seagulls?

 

How many seagulls can you spot? They were sitting in the pond and they all took off! I thought this would a great photo opportunity.

Unsure Gull

 

This Gull looked a but unsure of me taking his photo! He did pose well for me though.

Not A Duck!

 

I thought this was quite funny, the seagull joining in with the ducks at the pond. I think he was pretending to be a duck! There are a good few seagulls at the pond and always appear when I appear! They know I will feed them!

A McFlurry Seagull

 

This seagull was eating a McFlurry. Someone had dumped it in a carpark and I was watching this gull eating it. I am not too sure he enjoyed it though. He caught me looking at him in the second photo. I was talking to him! Sadly littering is a BIG BIG problem over here but at least the seagulls benefit sometimes. From what I have read, birds are lactose intolerant so best not give them anything with dairy in it. 

Seagulls in Blackpool

We visited Blackpool in September and went to the Pleasure Beach, which has a lot of rides and entertainment. I was sitting having a coffee and eating fries when a few Seagulls decided to join me so I fed them some fries and they rewarded me with some nice photos! I do like Seagulls, I know a lot of people don't! I have never had a bad experience with a Seagull and always feed them. They are really smart birds and interesting too.

 

A Serious Looking Seagull

 

This is a lovely looking Seagull but doesn't he have a serious look to him! I took this photo while I was out with my good friend Isabel. She is really into photography too and we can share our passion together.

Today it was up to 32C (89.5 F). I slept most of the morning and early afternoon, the joys of working nightshift haha! I got up and had plenty water then visited the pond to see the gang and went for a short walk. This was late afternoon and it was cooler because there was a lovely breeze! I hope it wasn't too hot where you all were. I was reading it was really bad in England and London got it really bad.

Angelic Seagull

 

I took this photo of the pond and a seagull was in mid flight! I do really like this photo, it looks mysterious I think.
