Thanks for all your lovely comments on the last 2 posts.
I haven't been doing too good. I have been trying to get on with things but it still hurts. The house is so quiet without him despite having 5 other cats and a 7 year old daughter! Jethro was so chatty he got the nickname Mr Shouty! My other cats seem so silent compared to him.
I have been going round them all and giving them cuddles. Abby has been sitting with me a lot and at night Cali comes to visit me and often sleeps at my back. Stitch will sometimes sleep at my legs too. Something Jethro used to do.
I found myself looking for him a few days ago. And then realised and broke down. I am still waiting for his ashes. I requested a pendant too, which I'll show you when I get. It is the worst pain I have ever felt in my life.
I'd like to thank Ann from https://zoolatry.blogspot.com/. She made this up for me.
And Ingrid from Meezer's Mews & Terrieristical Woofs made this up for me too.

It hurts a lot! Strength to you.
ReplyDeleteLosing a pet is like losing your own kid, so your grief makes complete sense. Give yourself time to grieve.
ReplyDeletetake care
ReplyDeleteIt takes time. (hugs)
ReplyDeleteYes, that pain is the worst ever. If you hear something or feel a brush on your leg it will be Jethro, he will always be with you. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteBoa tarde minha querida amiga Ananka.
ReplyDeletewe r so sorry fur your loss. we know how it feels. watch fur the ghost cat scurrying around the corner of your hallway, he will always be around you.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry Ananka, We have one last cat. We are older, and like to travel, and we say he is our last 'boy.' It doesn't matter how many you have, or have had in the past, each one is unique and precious.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard when you lose a pet, they are a family member. We lost our last dog 16 years ago and I still feel the loss. The photos we took bring smiles and memories back to us. We will never forget the times we spent with each animal we had. They will always be special.
ReplyDelete😢❤️
ReplyDeleteIt is a heartbreaking time for you. I remember the pain of losing my fur-baby. Times eases it, a long time, but they are never forgotten. I am really sad you are going through this Ananka. Sending love and a big hug.
ReplyDeleteI have lost several cats so I know how you feel. It can be quite hard.
