Happy Family

 

I saw this happy family along the canal on one of my summer walks. I fed them swan food pellets and they were very happy.

Bring Food And They Shall Come

 

I took this the other day when I was out walking around a Loch. I threw the swan food into the Loch and they all came! It was a wonderful experience.

Black Necked Swan

 

This is a Black Necked Swan that we saw at Blackpool Zoo. I had never seen one before this. I have seen a Black Swan years ago but never this type.

Young And Friendly

 

This young swan was quite friendly and was looking for a feed! I took this along the canal. The swans there are used to people!

A Cute Couple

 

What a lovely couple!

Meet Colin

This beautiful creature is Colin. Full name Colin Hissy! He appeared around December time at the pond. I had a feeling that the swan was male so called him Colin. Being a young one, he is very wary and hisses a lot, that is why he got the name Colin Hissy. He hasn't been there for 2 days now so I wonder if he has moved on. He was on his own, just him along with the ducks, crows and the Heron at the pond. I really hope he comes back soon as I am starting to miss him! Just means more food for the crows and ducks!!!

 

I'd also like to wish Jimmy Page a happy 80th birthday for today! I am a huge Led Zeppelin fan!
