A Thoughtful Gull

 

This is from a few years back. It's a Gull on top of a car at Edinburgh Zoo. I really thought it had a lovely and thoughtful face. I've spoken several times on here about my love for Gulls. They are hated by so many people. I have never had a bad experience with a Gull and been around plenty!

Azara's Agouti at Edinburgh Zoo

 

This is from a few years ago. It's Azara's Agouti (Dasyprocta azarae) from Edinburgh Zoo. I'd like to get back to the Zoo this year. It is very hilly and lots of walking so I think that will be a challenge!

This is one of the male Giraffes at Edinburgh Zoo. They have 5 boys and they are a recent addition to the Zoo arriving in 2021. We've not been to the Zoo in a while but with the summer holiday approaching, I think we'll be going there for sure!

Guarding

The Penguin was guarding the egg. I took this photo a few years ago at Edinburgh Zoo. As I have stated before, I have mixed feeling about zoos.

This penguin looks like it wants cuddles! So cute.

This is one of the Pandas that was at Edinburgh Zoo. They got sent back home in December 2023.

I saw this tree when I was at the Zoo a while back. I really liked the roots and the texture of it.

A Frog and A Penguin

 

These were taken in April this year. First up we have the Blue Poison Dart Frog. It is a lovely creature but I am of the opinion the more colourful the frog the quicker you run! Thankfully here in Scotland we don't have any nasty native frogs! And second is a penguin swimming, he has a look about him I think.

Feeding Time

 

On one of my many visits to Edinburgh Zoo, I was lucky enough to catch feeding time for the sloths. It was an amazing experience to watch. Such beautiful creatures.

I missed yesterday as I was so tired. I started working again, back to my old job on nightshift working Friday and Saturday nights! Gonna take me a while to get back into the swing of things!

Edinburgh Zoo Trip 2 - 5th February 2023

These are from nearly a year ago! We have renewed our annual pass to the zoo but still not been this year! Planning to go soon and make use of the pass. In other news, I sadly had to leave my job so I am currently looking for another one.

Edinburgh Zoo Trip 1 - 15th Jan 2023

We all got annual passes to Edinburgh Zoo for Christmas. Our first visit was 15th January and here are some of the photos. Expect plenty more Zoo Posts ;-)
