About Me

My photo
I'm a simple Scottish girl with an unusual name and a strange obsession for nail polish! My aim is to capture what the eye sees, with a camera! Too much nail polish and never enough time. I have also started wildlife photography, which I enjoy very much. Welcome to my little world :-)

A Frog and A Penguin

Blue Poison Dart Frog at Edinburgh Zoo

Penguin at Edinburgh Zoo

These were taken in April this year. First up we have the Blue Poison Dart Frog. It is a lovely creature but I am of the opinion the more colourful the frog the quicker you run! Thankfully here in Scotland we don't have any nasty native frogs! And second is a penguin swimming, he has a look about him I think.

  9. I have seen several poison dart frogs in Costa Rica and Panama, and hope to again next month. Sadly many species are declining in an alarming manner and some are already extinct.

  12. I have enjoyed seeing both these critters. I'm glad none of our frogs are poisonous. That is a penguin with an attitude. Both are great shots. BTW, thank you for your kind comments on my blog, and for being a regular follower. I wish you the best for this holiday season.

  13. I don't know what worries me more about the frog that looks like plastic or the penguin's gaze. Greetings from Spain, I have just arrived and I will stay here if it is okay with you.

  16. Boa tarde. Uma excelente segunda-feira, com muita paz e saúde. Sapo diferente, nunca vi igual. Pinguim, também nunca vi, mais já apareceram nas praias do Rio de Janeiro e outras regiões do país.
