This is Maggie. She is a magpie that visited our garden a few months ago. She seemed to be struggling so we gave her food and water. After a few hours she was able to fly and went on her way. She was hiding under the table in the garden so I got this photo of her.
Very beautifully done
ReplyDeleteThanks Mikael :-D
DeleteWhat a beautiful bird and photo. It was a very nice visit for Maggie and you.
ReplyDeleteI was so happy to see her and help her. Thanks Bill :-D
Delete...you sure are a caring soul!
ReplyDeleteWe need to be Tom. Thanks :-D
DeleteShe is so cute
ReplyDeleteShe really is. Thanks :-D
DeleteI am wondering how you know it’s a female. As far as I know, the only difference is that the male is slightly larger, but without a male and a female side by side it’s hard to compare.
ReplyDeleteI was guessing. My daughter called her Maggie so we stuck with that for my daughter's sake! :-D
DeleteIt is so lovely that you gave Maggie care! <3
ReplyDeleteI was glad to help her :-D
DeleteIs that bird black-and-white, or am I just seeing it from a weird angle?
ReplyDeleteIt is black and white yes. It's a magpie and they are black and white Kirk :-D
DeleteUy que linda, me alegra que este bien. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteI am glad she is okay too. Thanks :-D
DeleteAww such a good photograph.

DeleteGood photo of this fine looking bird. Hope Maggie continues to hang around in your garden. Magpies are really smart birds, so she should know she has found a friend.
