Thanks for all your lovely comments on the last 2 posts.
I haven't been doing too good. I have been trying to get on with things but it still hurts. The house is so quiet without him despite having 5 other cats and a 7 year old daughter! Jethro was so chatty he got the nickname Mr Shouty! My other cats seem so silent compared to him.
I have been going round them all and giving them cuddles. Abby has been sitting with me a lot and at night Cali comes to visit me and often sleeps at my back. Stitch will sometimes sleep at my legs too. Something Jethro used to do.
I found myself looking for him a few days ago. And then realised and broke down. I am still waiting for his ashes. I requested a pendant too, which I'll show you when I get. It is the worst pain I have ever felt in my life.
I'd like to thank Ann from https://zoolatry.blogspot.com/. She made this up for me.
And Ingrid from Meezer's Mews & Terrieristical Woofs made this up for me too.

It hurts a lot! Strength to you.
ReplyDeleteThanks Anne <3

DeleteYes, that pain is the worst ever. If you hear something or feel a brush on your leg it will be Jethro, he will always be with you. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteHe will be and I swear he still is. Thanks Terry <3
DeleteBoa tarde minha querida amiga Ananka.
ReplyDeleteI loved him very much. <3 I think Scotland are out. Let's see how the Brazil game goes. Thanks Luiz.
Deletewe r so sorry fur your loss. we know how it feels. watch fur the ghost cat scurrying around the corner of your hallway, he will always be around you.
ReplyDeleteI will. Thanks <3
DeleteSo sorry Ananka, We have one last cat. We are older, and like to travel, and we say he is our last 'boy.' It doesn't matter how many you have, or have had in the past, each one is unique and precious.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kathy <3 I will miss him forever.
DeleteIt's hard when you lose a pet, they are a family member. We lost our last dog 16 years ago and I still feel the loss. The photos we took bring smiles and memories back to us. We will never forget the times we spent with each animal we had. They will always be special.
ReplyDeleteIt really is Bill. That's true and I have lots and lots of photos. They will. Thanks <3
Delete😢❤️
ReplyDeleteThanks Anabel <3
DeleteIt is a heartbreaking time for you. I remember the pain of losing my fur-baby. Times eases it, a long time, but they are never forgotten. I am really sad you are going through this Ananka. Sending love and a big hug.

DeleteMy sincere condolences on the loss of your precious Jethro. Big hugs to you and cuddles to your other kitties. I love cats. They are such wonderful companions. The photos that you posted are lovely tributes to a very handsome fellow. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks. He really was a handsome guy <3
DeleteI completely understand. For something so small they leave such a huge hole.
ReplyDeleteThey sure do! Thanks <3
DeleteIt seems the more you love a furry one, the harder it is when they leave us. Even if expected it hurts t=somuch.

ReplyDeleteHopefully soon. Thanks <3

ReplyDeleteThanks <3

ReplyDeleteI hope so too. Thanks <3
DeleteLosing a beloved friend like Jethro is no less painful than losing a human friend-- or even a family member. It's the downside of having a treasured cat or dog. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteIt really is Bill. But the happiness was worth it. Thanks <3
DeleteDear Ananka, losing a pet is losing a friend. I am so sorry you are going through this pain! Each cat has a distinctive personality, and it seems that Jethro was more vocal and active, and you are missing his presence.
ReplyDeleteI totally get this. Sending you much love and healing hugs.
They all do and are amazing. Thanks Linda <3

ReplyDeleteYou are very brave despite everything. It's wonderful that Abby, Cali, and everyone else are coming to comfort you.
All of us who have beloved pets feel for you. The pain is immeasurable when they leave us.
Sending you a hug.
Thanks Andrea <3

ReplyDeleteThanks <3
DeleteOh wow that cat is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThanks <3
DeleteMy dear Ananka, I've already written to you about losing several pets in my life. I still remember them all, remembering how kind and good they were. I'm especially sorry for Tyopa. We were together for 14.5 years, never apart. But he died unexpectedly. He wasn't sick.
ReplyDeleteOn December 12, 2010, he was feeling well, ate well that evening, and died at 6 PM. He must have had a heart attack.
Thanks Irina. I had a look on your blog and found Tyopa. Thanks <3
DeleteAnanka eu te entendo porque já passei por isso, mas tempo vai de ajudar, desejo uma ótima semana bjs.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lucimar <3
DeleteI hate how much you are hurting, but it shows how deeply he was loved. I know there is nothing that I can say to make things easier or better, but I hope you know there are a lot of people out there wishing you well <3
ReplyDeleteIt's horrible honestly. Thanks Shannon I really appreciate the lovely comments from everyone <3
DeleteHello Mrs. Ananka,
ReplyDeleteI can understand how you feel at the moment. I was in your shoes a few years ago when my beloved cat died in an accident. It was a very difficult time for us.
You are still fortunate to have five other cats surrounding you with their love and companionship. Since losing our cat, we have not had any pets, and our home has felt a little emptier over the years.
I hope the wonderful memories of your cat bring you comfort during this difficult time.
Take care, and stay strong.
Thanks Asep. It's never the same really. The other 5 cats miss his too. I have so many good memories <3
DeleteIt's so hard to lose our precious furKids and it takes a long time to get past the pain. Hugs to you♥
ReplyDeleteAwwww, we are so very sorry, and completely understand how mew feel, it's hard, so very hard, their absence seems magnified even when other furbabies are still there... all we can do is send mew huge hugs and gentle purrs, and if mew need a paw let us know....🐾✨🐈✨🐾
