Bactrian Camel

Bactrian Camel at Blackpool Zoo

This is a Bactrian Camel, we saw it at Blackpool Zoo a few months ago. It looks like it was happy and relaxing!

  9. Happy, or resigned to its fate? It will never see its native land, nor ever roam free, not ever do anything that is not dictated by a human. That seems like a very odd definition of happiness.

    1. Well safer here than being killed by us humans. As I've always said, I have mixed feeling about zoos. :-|
