These are the last photos I have from March.
They were very busy!! I was at the pond last week and sadly there wasn't a lot of tadpoles. I remember a few years ago seeing lots, but sadly not this year. The little baby frogs should be appearing soon!
Interesting contrast between that frog and your bright red nail polish.
ReplyDeleteI thought so too Kirk! :-D
DeleteThey are so cute!
ReplyDeleteThey really are :-D
DeleteThe frog on your hand looks tired.
ReplyDeleteHe was I think! I helped him :-D
DeleteVery nice
ReplyDeleteThanks :-D
DeleteSuch a handsome fellow. I also like your nail polish.
ReplyDeleteThanks, he really is. Glad you like it :-D
DeleteThere are many predators of tadpoles and young frogs.
ReplyDeleteThis is very true.
DeleteMarvelous creatures. They could be safe in the backyard, as snakes always look for them (for supper).
ReplyDeleteThey could be. I have never seen a native snake in Scotland yet!
DeleteParece que se encuentra a gusto entre tus manos.
ReplyDeleteFeliz semana.
Yes he was. Thanks :-D
Delete...the more the merrier!
ReplyDeleteThat's it Tom :-D
DeleteThey are such interesting looking critters!
ReplyDeleteThe really are, I do love them :-D
DeleteI love how they look with the skin texture
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting :-D
DeleteLinda rana, te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteThanks :-D
DeleteThey look very calm and composed. Good shots.
ReplyDeleteThey do :-D
DeleteI can touch neither a frog nor a toad!
ReplyDeleteIn Scotland they aren't dangerous Irina :-D
DeleteAll we ever see around our place are little tree frogs. Tiny, but very loud!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see more here :-D
DeleteI know that people handle frogs all the time, but on balance it’s better not to. The oil from your skin can block the pores on their bodies.
ReplyDeleteGood to know David. Though I cannot stop from helping them :-D
DeleteI am not quite sure how closing off their pores helps them.
DeleteI meant helping them to the pond if they are struggling!
DeleteBom dia. Uma excelente terça-feira, com muita paz e saúde. São lindos. Tenho uma sobrinha que tem muito medo. Aqui no Brasil temos alguns mortais, não se pode pegá-los.
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely creatures. Thanks Luiz :-D
DeleteVery interesting creatures
ReplyDeleteThey really are :-D
DeleteNice to see these photographs.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
