I have been Blogging since 2011. I first started with 2 Blogs about nail polish, which I do from time to time. My main focus is on my more recent Blog which is about photography, mainly nature and wildlife. Welcome to my little world :-)
Your photo of the cones allows me the opportunity to learn that the Noble fir tree can reach heights of up 70 meters (230 feets). I would have never thought of such tall trees.
In its native area in western North America it is a magnificent tree growing up to 70 metres. I suspect that in Scotland it is never permitted to attain these heights and is probably used primarily for Christmas trees. Isn’t it ironic that we massacre trees early in life to celebrate birth?
So cool. You find amazing things to photograph.
