ReplyDeleteIt's getting cooler here with lots of rain the last few days. Trees take a while to turn if they turn before the wind gets them first.

ReplyDeleteIt won’t be long here before the trees start to change colour. The little we see already is probably due to stress caused by lack of moisture for long stretches during the heat of summer.

ReplyDeleteYes, the summer is coming to an end but lots of sunny warm days to come before it gets cold and rainy. I love the colours of the autumn. And the fresh air.

ReplyDeleteAutumn in New England is quite the event and soon enough the so-called leaf peepers will be coming to see the changing colors. I have not noticed very much color changes in the leaves as of this week. Rainfall has been scarce this summer, so that will definitely affect the intensity of the leaf color changes.
