Another one from Amazonia. A Parrot.
It has that, "What you looking at?" look to it I think! I'd love to have a parrot as a pet but I have 6 cats so don't think that would work so well.

DeleteI've had two parrots, and while I love them to pieces, I really hope that people realize they need lots of attention, lots of stimulus, and lots of patience with HOW LOUD THEY CAN BE. But I do love them.

DeleteParrots demand a lot of attention, so keeping one together with a lot of cats might be hard. Even if cats can be taught to leave parrots alone, it can still be tough. The large parrots are almost like a human child, they demand constant social interaction or they get depressed. The smaller ones are more manageable, and you can always get a pair if you do not have a lot of time to devote to them.

Yes that's true. I would really like one but I would not trust my cats! I know people enjoy having them as pets :-D
