I have been Blogging since 2011. I first started with 2 Blogs about nail polish, which I do from time to time. My main focus is on my more recent Blog which is about photography, mainly nature and wildlife. Welcome to my little world :-)
This little woodlouse was scuttling about on the floor. The cats were showing too much interest in it so decided to lift it up and put it outside. Got a photo before I did that of course! They are amazing little things I think.
How adorable! I love how loving you are when it comes to animals. Very cute photograph.
To answer your comment- skirts and dresses are the best choices when there are weight changes. I have Chron disease, so my weight sometimes fluctuates quite a bit. Often I lose weight, and while I always get it back, it can be a struggle. Wearing almost exclusively skirts and dresses has made my life so much easier. With trousers, even a few pounds shows- they don't fit just right. However, dresses and skirts are much more forgiving and comfortable. In the colder months, I pair them with leggings or thick . Because of my illness, I also get bloated a lot- again it is much more comfortable to wear dresses and skirts. Vintage dresses and skirts are the best thing for a woman to wear. Vintage materials are of better quality, vintage dresses are better made....and sometimes you can really find them for next to nothing in charity shops. It is a win win for us ladies.
I always liked woodlice. When I was a kid, they really reminded me of little trilobites, even though they're obviously not any closely related to them. Even as an adult I find it quite bewildering that there are crustaceans living entirely on land!
I think we used to call these "rolly pollies".
ReplyDeleteYes I've heard that name before :-D
DeleteMom does that with the lizards we find (IF she gets them before we do!)
