Chilean Rose Tarantula at Amazonia in Scotland

This is a Chilean Rose Tarantula that we saw at Amazonia recently. I like spiders.

  1. Boa noite minha querida amiga Ananka. Fiquei surpreso, eu nem sabia que você, já esteve na Amazônia. Aqui em casa as vezes parece algumas aranhas. Uma vez, quando eu era adolescente, vi uma aranha-caranguejeira. Obrigado pelas felicitações do meu aniversário. Uma excelente noite de sexta-feira e um grande abraço do seu amigo carioca.

  6. Definitely scary for me! I have heard some people have them as pets. I don't hate them or anything, but I will admire its beauty at a distance. :)

  8. I like spiders too. When I lived in AZ. Mr. M. and I were hiking. We stopped for a rest and I sat down on a big rock. Well under my butt was a huge tarantula. I can't remember how we discovered it but I put it in my hand and it came to life. I do love this photo.

    1. I get little ones in the house and usually have to chase them out so the cats don't kill them. :-D

  14. If our friend Garfield shows up here, will he have the courage to hit this hideous spider with the newspaper? LoL
