Shining Bright

The Moon in Scotland

One of my better photos of the moon! It can be really hard to capture with a phone!

  1. This is such a gorgeous shot, the moon is so notoriously tricky to capture! Usually, whenever I try to take a phone photo of it, it just looks like a blurry little streetlamp in the distance.

  2. Actually, it is not easy to make a photo of the moon with a smartphone.

  11. It would be great to leave the moon alone to inspire us as it has done for the entire history of humans on Earth, but we can’t leave well enough alone and want to build on it so that we can litter it in the same was as the Earth.

  14. Mit einem Handy würde ich kein vernünftiges Bild vom Mond hinbekommen. Da ist dein Bild sehr schön geworden.

  15. Careful, maybe it's an egg of a large space organism and when it hatches, the creature will devour our planet! :D I remembered one of the worst Moffat-era episodes of Doctor Who, the one where precisely that nearly happened. :D

    1. Haha maybe! I never really watched Dr Who so donno that episode! :-D

    2. If you ever see it, it's called Kill the Moon. Series 8 of New Who is underrated (and Peter Capaldi is my favourite Doctor) but that particular episode was a big miss... :D

    3. I've never really seen any of the modern ones. And rarely watched the older ones! Thanks :-D

  16. Ha ha, you might need a real camera, although it can be tricky with one of those as well.
