On Friday 24th January Scotland was hit with a bad storm called Eowyn. It was one of the worst we have ever seen. Giorgio over at Change easily (https://giorgiorusso2.blogspot.com/) was asking me for information on it. So it lasted most of the day and died down about 8pm. Sadly, so far 2 people have lost their lives. But the damage to houses and buildings has been really bad. There are trees down all over and fences and debris. I have been out a few times and here are some of the photos of the trees.
...I love trees, but some can be dangerous in a storm.
ReplyDeleteYes they can be but so important in life :-D
DeleteI'm so sorry to hear that two people lost their lives, as a bad storm that hit Scotland last week. I haven't heard of such violent storm in your country. Thank you for sharing news of this.

Thanks Giorgio. It is always sad when people die in these storms. We have never seen the likes before in Scotland.
DeleteLos daños a la Naturaleza se repone, pero la pérdida de la vida de esas dos personas, ya no tiene solución.
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo.
That is so very true. Nature is good at repairing itself. Shame for the families of the people who died :-(

ReplyDeleteI think climate change is responsible for all this disaster!!
Living capital is definitely not replaced! May no evil find you and quickly return to normal !

ReplyDeleteYes I saw Ireland got hit badly as well. Hopefully they get it sorted soon.
DeleteIt's fire, floods, hurricanes, tsunamis... Nature responds to the excesses of human greed.
