Wood Pigeon in Scotland

This is a Wood Pigeon chilling in the grass. I don't really give pigeons the attention I should. Maybe I should start paying more attention to them!

      When I see them in cities it makes me sad, they all seem to be missing legs and ill. :-(

    To build on Tom’s comment in many urban areas, humans can be a nuisance. A far greater nuisance than a few pigeons who never gun people down or commit violent crime. Scummy humans could learn a great deal from tranquil, peaceful pigeons.

      So true David. I don't think a pigeon would ever kill. Yes we need to learn from nature and creatures.
