Here we have Abby the white cat and Jethro the Bengal cat. Jethro's tail is cuddling Abby. I've said before Jethro isn't doing so good and very thin. He is still eating & drinking, using his litter tray, grooming and seeking cuddles.
I have lost all my family, my last passed in 2011 but I've never lost an animal and I think it will just be as bad or worse. I take comfort in the fact that all 6 are loved and are having good lives with us.

DeleteThat is such a sweet photo. It is devastating to lose a much loved pet. I still miss all of our cats terribly, Flynn in particular, he was my heart cat.

DeleteThat's so sweet! In my opinion, losing a pet is harder than losing a human. Our pets are the ones that are always there for us, no matter what.

DeleteDear Ananka! I know you lost your parents many years ago. So did I. I also lost many cats in my life. At the present time Thomas is ill and Yana has some health problems.

DeleteIt is just as hard in so many ways. Still... Unlike people, you can always get another pet. Out of all the dogs and cats I've had over my many decades, though, there is one of each that I still miss 30 or 40 years later.

DeleteOh dear, we're so sorry to hear Jethro isn'd doing so well. This is a beautiful photo of him and Abby. Knowing they're so loved does, in our opinion, give some comfort, but it's true- sometimes losing a pet can be worse than losing another human. My dad knows all too well the deep pain and grief one feels especially when a senior pet passes away.
