Out In The Woods

Jelly Ear Fungus in Scotland

This is from last year when I was in the woods! I think it looks like Jelly Ear Fungus. I love taking photos of mushrooms.

So after yesterday waiting for them to come to collect the aids, the guy refused to take the wheelchair we bought because it wasn't "official". Oh my! So I'll give it to a charity shop next week. At least I tried!

  1. I didn't know until recently is without these little fungi, our forests would be mostly wood corpses 🍄

  2. That is an unusual looking fungus. I looked it up and it says it is edible. I am always wary of eating wild fungi in case I make a mistake!

  3. Der Pilz sieht sehr zerbrechlich aus. Trotzdem ist er vollkommen. Es wird noch etwas dauern, bis die ersten Pilze gewachsen sind.

  5. We don't have any woods nearby to walk in. I'm sure someone will get good use out of the wheelchair.

  14. I can't imagine what makes a wheelchair official. Maybe it didn't have a barcode.

  17. That’s a great photo! I have never heard of this fungus before. I will be having my portobello mushrooms with my breakfast today :) Isn’t that something about the wheel chair. At least you are making sure someone will get the benefit. Applauding here!
