This is from last year when I was in the woods! I think it looks like Jelly Ear Fungus. I love taking photos of mushrooms.
So after yesterday waiting for them to come to collect the aids, the guy refused to take the wheelchair we bought because it wasn't "official". Oh my! So I'll give it to a charity shop next week. At least I tried!

Beautiful and unusual!
ReplyDeleteThanks :-D
DeleteI didn't know until recently is without these little fungi, our forests would be mostly wood corpses 🍄
ReplyDeleteThey are so useful Adam. Thanks :-D
DeleteThat is an unusual looking fungus. I looked it up and it says it is edible. I am always wary of eating wild fungi in case I make a mistake!
ReplyDeleteI wasn't sure if it was. Thanks Jackie :-D Yes me too, best to play it safe and eat from the supermarket :-D
DeleteDer Pilz sieht sehr zerbrechlich aus. Trotzdem ist er vollkommen. Es wird noch etwas dauern, bis die ersten Pilze gewachsen sind.
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely mushrooms. Thanks :-D
DeleteIt does have the jelly look and texture. I wouldn't eat it.
ReplyDeleteIt does Bill. I am not sure I would either! Thanks :-D
DeleteWe don't have any woods nearby to walk in. I'm sure someone will get good use out of the wheelchair.
ReplyDeleteWe have so many and love it. Hopefully. Thanks Terry :-D
DeleteI have seen plenty of that in my foraging
ReplyDeleteCool, I like to forage sometimes :-D
Delete... and I'm sure someone will get good use out of the wheelchair.
ReplyDeleteGreat picture of the mushrooms.
All the best Jan
I hope so Jan. Thanks :-D
Delete...wow, Ananka, you know the names of mushrooms. I need to learn more about them.
ReplyDeleteI have to research them Tom but am a complete novice :-D
DeleteUy que lindos hongos. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteThanks :-D

DeleteSuch a lovely shot! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThanks Angie :-D
DeleteI can't imagine what makes a wheelchair official. Maybe it didn't have a barcode.
ReplyDeleteThat might be it Kirk, no barcode haha! The chairty shop will make use of it I am sure :-D
DeleteFungi are eternally fascinating - and some of them are darned good to eat!
ReplyDeleteOh I agree David on both counts. :-D
DeleteWonderful picture. Strange as it may be, it's official! Someone who needs it will be happy to find it in a charitable place.
ReplyDeleteThanks Anne. Yes I thought it odd too! Someone will get it and need it :-D
DeleteThat’s a great photo! I have never heard of this fungus before. I will be having my portobello mushrooms with my breakfast today :) Isn’t that something about the wheel chair. At least you are making sure someone will get the benefit. Applauding here!
ReplyDeleteThanks Denise. Oh Portobello Mushrooms are so tasty :-D Hopefully yes :-D
