This is the first Butterfly of the year. I saw it a few weeks ago when I was on the school run. It was a rather nice day and I saw it flying about then it rested near my car and got a good photo. It's a Peacock Butterfly.

DeleteBeautiful. Seeing this butterfly reminds me that I saw a truly gorgeous moth a couple of days ago. I should have whipped out my phone and taken a picture of it.

DeleteBeautiful butterfly. We have a few flying around. What we have mostly flying is bumble bees, HUGE bumble bees! They seem to be getting bigger every year.
