Crocus in Scotland

You know Spring is here when you see the Crocuses. What is the plural of Crocus? Crocuses or Croci? These are the purple and white ones.

  4. I was always told that the plural of crocus is croci but I think it's fine to use either croci or crocuses.
    Whatever, the correct terminology, there's no doubt the ones in your two photographs look beautiful.

  11. They are beautiful! I think the correct name is croci, but everyone calls them crocuses, so I would have thought that is correct too.
