Colourful Coral

Coral at Sea Life in Loch Lomond in Scotland

I liked this Coral it has nice colours.

Last few days have been decent, well no rain counts as decent in Scotland. Sadly been waiting in for parcels so haven't been out and it's looking like I have to stay in tomorrow too. Today I have them coming to collect my walking aids. Was told to "just bin the boot". I don't understand, they could renew the sock and reuse it. Crazy as these boots are expensive. No wonder the NHS is in crisis!!!

  3. The coral is beautiful!
I agree, the NHS is so wasteful. We have a collection of crutches in the garage that they won't take back. On my last visit to my physiotherapist 2 weeks ago, he told me my walking sticks were putting to much pressure on my hands and shoulders and ordered me a wheeled walker. He told me the same and to ditch the sticks even though they had only been replaced a month ago! I need mobility aids due to side effects from the chemotherapy during the second half of 2024. I didn't plan on a walker though, so at least I have still got my sticks!

    1. Thanks Jackie. :-D

It's crazy, the money they'd save! I struggled with the zimmer, that hurt my wrists. I hope the wheeled walker helps you. Just give the spares to a charity shop. I am down to one stick now and trying to walk sometimes without it.

It was wonderfully sunny today, I sat outside in the garden for a while, with a jacket on I hasten to add, but it was very pleasant.

    All the best Jan

  8. That coral is beautiful. The colors really stand out. I like the sunshine over here these past few days. Yesterday I literally wore something so light. Sounds like a bit of a frustrating few days stuck in; I hope you get back out soon and enjoy some fresh air.

  11. At least the coral brought a bit of colour to the days, even if the rest feels like a frustrating wait and a waste that shouldn’t be so easily dismissed.

  14. Sorry you have to wait around for your delivery Ananka. Sounds like you are definitely moving in the right direction, applauding here. It’s a shame they don’t recycle those boots. Your photo is lovely. Corals have always fascinated me.

  15. Waiting is never much fun. Supposed to be sunny and maybe 11C here today. My kind of weather, well anything warmer that 3C works for me as a cyclist.
