Slipper Flower

Slipper Flower in Scotland

This is one from the garden centre near us. It's Calceolaria integrifolia, also know as Slipper Flower or Lady's Purse. It caught my eye because it was vivid orange.

  1. What a beautiful flower Ananka. We have ones here called Lady Slippers but they are a bit different from these. Beautiful and a great photo!

  5. Eine wunderbare leuchtende Farbe. Auch die Blütenform ist aussergewöhnlich. Hier wird sie Pantoffelblume genannt.

A different kind of flower, it looks like an orange mushroom.

  9. That vivid orange is an absolute showstopper! It is easy to see exactly why it caught your eye across a crowded garden center, that intense, fiery hue is hard to miss.
