I have been Blogging since 2011. I first started with 2 Blogs about nail polish, which I do from time to time. My main focus is on my more recent Blog which is about photography, mainly nature and wildlife. Welcome to my little world :-)
Schon ganz schön gruselig. Wie im Film. Ja, es ist eine Morchel. (Gyromitra esculenta). Der Pilz ist stark giftig, wird aber in verschiedenen Regionen nach entsprechender Zubereitung als Speisepilz verwendet. Ich würde ihn ganz sicher nicht essen.
Such an unusual mushroom's shape. I agree with you and Tom on learning to distinguish edible mushrooms from poisonous ones (shape, gill attachment, spore color, and odor).
Nature is truly wonderful in its design. Mushrooms and fungi may yet be the saving of mankind, food and medicine wise, so I lean to just admiring than thinking they are strange. ERin

Delete...Ananka, I need to educate myself about mushrooms.
