A Great Walk For A Monday

Trees in Scotland

This is from a walk I'd do often. It's a long walk though so won't be doing it anytime soon! It was lovely yesterday but today it is raining.

I am not sure if it's made the news in your country, but one of the biggest train stations in Scotland in Glasgow has been on fire. Sad times indeed. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/videos/c9wne9yxqn8o

  11. Didn't hear about the fire. Bad news, but at least from what I read in that link, nobody was hurt.

  13. Hi Mrs. Ananka. I’m sorry that I’ve been a bit busy for the last few weeks. My new job has been driving me insane.

I’ve been reading a lot of news in our local media, but there is not a single report about the biggest train station in Glasgow, Scotland being on fire.

Most of the news here is about the conflict involving the US, Israel, and Iran, with reports about attacks and retaliation between the countries.

How are things going, my friend? I hope everything is well. I wish I could visit your country someday. You have been so kind to me.

    Big hello from Indonesia.

  15. It is very sad about the fire at Glasgow Central. It is always sad to see a beautiful historic building go up in flames. I saw it on my phone Sunday evening and it is on the news every day. Very sad!

  20. Lovely capture of the sun shining through the trees. That's a terrible fire at the train station. I had not heard about it until you mentioned it, so thank you for letting us know. I hope it can be contained soon but it looks like it is raging. I hope those firefighters will be okay and hopefully people got out in time..

  21. Its always lovely to escape the city for such delightful walks. I here the conflagration started in a 'vape' shop! There is some irony there, and we knew they were bad things.
    Hopefully the station will recover....
