This is from a walk I'd do often. It's a long walk though so won't be doing it anytime soon! It was lovely yesterday but today it is raining.
I am not sure if it's made the news in your country, but one of the biggest train stations in Scotland in Glasgow has been on fire. Sad times indeed. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/videos/c9wne9yxqn8o

Looks like a great place to walk, Ananka. First I heard of the train station fire. Sad indeed.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to get back out! Yes an old building collapsed. Lucky no one was hurt.
Delete...Ananka, the fire is news for me. Be well and soon you will out walking!
ReplyDeleteI really cannot wait to get back out :-D
DeleteI didn't know about the fire. That is sad.
ReplyDeleteIt really is Mary.
DeleteI saw that fire on BBC news. it stated in a vape shop next door. So sad, such a lot of destruction of an elegant building.
ReplyDeleteThat's right and it spread so fast. It was a lovely building indeed.
DeleteThat is a lovely photograph, looks a great place to walk and I'm sure you will be there when you are properly healed and back to fitness.
ReplyDeleteYes, I saw the fire on the news it was a huge one wasn't it ... very sad.
All the best Jan
Hopefully soon Jan :-D
DeleteYes, very big.
That is a lovely light
ReplyDeleteIt is, thanks :-D
DeleteDevastating fire. Just glad there seem to have been no casualties.
ReplyDeleteIt really was and don't think anyone was hurt thankfully.
DeleteThat's a beautiful scene! How horrible about the train station, awful.
ReplyDeleteThanks Terry. Yes it was bad.
DeleteAnanka, I'm glad you've started taking long walks. But a fire on the train station is bad news.
ReplyDeleteNot quite yet Irina. This is an older photo. It was bad news indeed.
DeleteEs un lindo lugar. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteThanks :-D
DeleteA lovely walk. You will do it again eventually. So sorry about the train station. -Christine cmlk79.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI am hoping to get out when the weather is a bit better. Thanks Christine :-D
DeleteDidn't hear about the fire. Bad news, but at least from what I read in that link, nobody was hurt.
ReplyDeleteThankfully no one was Kirk.
DeleteI hope you are able to work up to that walk again in the future! <3
ReplyDeleteI hope so too Shannon :-D
DeleteHi Mrs. Ananka. I’m sorry that I’ve been a bit busy for the last few weeks. My new job has been driving me insane.
ReplyDeleteI’ve been reading a lot of news in our local media, but there is not a single report about the biggest train station in Glasgow, Scotland being on fire.
Most of the news here is about the conflict involving the US, Israel, and Iran, with reports about attacks and retaliation between the countries.
How are things going, my friend? I hope everything is well. I wish I could visit your country someday. You have been so kind to me.
Big hello from Indonesia.
I hope the new job eases off Asep. Yes we are getting a lot about that too, sad times. We don't want war.
DeleteYou will need to come and visit Scotland :-D
Sad about the train station. A very happy picture!
ReplyDeleteIt is. Glad you like the photo :-D
DeleteIt is very sad about the fire at Glasgow Central. It is always sad to see a beautiful historic building go up in flames. I saw it on my phone Sunday evening and it is on the news every day. Very sad!
ReplyDeleteYes and they are taking the building down now. Glad no one was hurt.
DeleteSorry to hear such bad news, Ananka. I didn't read such news about the fire at the train station in Glasgow.
ReplyDeleteThe photo shows a beautiful place walk.
It is Giorgio. Thanks, glad you like it :-D
DeleteOh No!
ReplyDeleteI know!
DeleteAnd I thought you were already out and about :-))
ReplyDeleteHaha yes Angie. Just little walks! :-D
DeleteBoa tarde Ananka. Infelizmente, não chegou no Brasil, sobre essa notícia. Breve você poderá tirar novas fotos. Muita saúde e grande abraço do seu amigo brasileiro.
ReplyDeleteI am hoping to get out once the weather is a bit better. Thanks :-D
DeleteVery lovely photo. Sorry to hear about the train.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nicole :-D
DeleteHow beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda :-D
DeleteLovely capture of the sun shining through the trees. That's a terrible fire at the train station. I had not heard about it until you mentioned it, so thank you for letting us know. I hope it can be contained soon but it looks like it is raging. I hope those firefighters will be okay and hopefully people got out in time..
ReplyDeleteThanks Denise. :-D They finally put it out but the building collapsed. Trains are slowly getting back to normal!
DeleteIts always lovely to escape the city for such delightful walks. I here the conflagration started in a 'vape' shop! There is some irony there, and we knew they were bad things.
ReplyDeleteHopefully the station will recover....
ERin
Thanks, I love a good walk. Yes a vape shop indeed, the building collapsed but the trains are getting back to normal again.
DeleteSaw that on both CNN and BBC. And in the Swedish papers as well.
ReplyDeleteGlad it made the news over there Stefan.
