Heron Up A Tree

 


I spotted this Heron sitting up on the tree when I did my canal walk! This was taken on 7th September.

    A nice spotting of heron. She looks quite relaxed in that spot.

    I've never seen a Heron in a tree, I'm sure they do it all the time but ours are always wading in the water.

    Ooh beautiful bird. I saw one (I think it was a heron) a few weeks ago flying over the highway, it looked like a pterodactyl! :)
