About Me

My photo
I'm a simple Scottish girl with an unusual name and a strange obsession for nail polish! My aim is to capture what the eye sees, with a camera! Too much nail polish and never enough time. I have also started wildlife photography, which I enjoy very much. Welcome to my little world :-)

Caught In A Web

This Damselfly wasn't very lucky. The spider had caught him and by the time I got to them, he was dead. It is sad, but part of life. The spider needs to eat.

  6. I am not quite sure why you took the damselfly away from the spider, Ananka. Having trapped it in the way that spiders do, surely she was entitled to the meal. Now the damselfly is still dead and the spider goes hungry.

    1. I didn't take it away. I left it there for the spider to have. I stopped to see if it was alive, then took the photo and walked off. I really like spiders and would never deprive her of her catch! I am sure she enjoyed it. :-D

  10. Ananka,
This is the food chain that moves life. I think that only human beings take the lives of their fellow human beings without there being anything that justifies this attitude
A hug and I join your “blog” friends.
